Mandy – Labrador mix – 1 ½ yrs – female (48lbs)

Say hello to our sweet girl, Mandy! Mandy was picked up by Animal Control when someone notified them that there was an injured dog in their front yard. Mandy was lying in the grass unable to walk because she had a very bloody leg with a piece of metal sticking out. She was taken to the county shelter where they tended to her wound and then put out a plea for help. We stepped up and were happy to bring her back to our shelter. Mandy has since received medical care and is healing well. We really don’t know how her injury occurred, but we’re happy that she’s now healthy and doing great.

Mandy loves other dogs and plays well with them. She enjoys going for walks and does well on a leash. She’s happy, loving, and so very sweet. We believe Mandy may be housebroken because she has no accidents in her kennel area. She’s active, but not hyper, and will make a great hiking, walking, or jogging companion. Mandy is still a puppy, and we’re happy to see her be able to act her age again. She’s also very affectionate and truly wants to spend time with you. Mandy will make an awesome family member and is anxious to start her forever life with her new family. Please don’t make Mandy wait any longer, complete our application to make Mandy your new family member.
