Annie – Staffordshire Terrier mix – 6yrs – female (66lbs)
Some of you may remember our sweet girl, Annie! Unfortunately, she has been returned after living for FOUR years with a family. Sadly, the adults are getting a divorce and we’re heartbroken that neither of them can keep her. Life changes all the time and, for this adorable girl, it’s the second time she’s been let down by her people.
Annie was well taken care of and is healthy (except for some allergies, which are VERY typical for blue bullies), happy, and very outgoing! She lived with children and adores them. Annie loves people in general and can’t seem to get close enough to anyone who will let her. She thinks an open lap is an invitation to snuggle. She’s great on a leash, but enjoys more of a “stroll” than a fast walk or strenuous hike. Annie will happily spend her time on the sofa watching TV and loves to sleep in when she can. She’s also great in the car and enjoys the journey. Annie is not a big fan of cats or water, but will tolerate a bath if given enough treats to bribe her. 😊 We know that Annie lived with another dog and was fine with him, but was not really exposed to dogs outside of their home. We think she’d love to be an only dog and get ALL of the attention. However, she is not dog reactive when she sees other dogs while walking so we believe, with the right dog, she would be just fine.
This sweet girl is the whole package – she knows basic commands, is crate trained, and completely housebroken - easy-peezy! Take one look at Annie’s sweet face and maybe you can be the first person to show this girl a true loving, forever home. She needs you!
