Bennett – Staffordshire Terrier mix – 2yrs – male (63lbs)

Meet Bennett! This handsome boy was originally adopted as an eight week old puppy from a county shelter. Fast-forward almost two years and he ended up right back at that county shelter. His “so-called” owners were contacted, but hung up when they were told that Bennett was waiting for them at the shelter. Thankfully, now Bennett has a second chance at a “real” home with loving people that will show him how good life can actually be.

Bennett is an awesome dog! He’s housebroken, great in his kennel area, and good on a leash. He’s a very polite boy, but can be skittish and nervous out in the world. Loud noises are scary! He LOVES people and is a very happy, affectionate guy. He has a few canine companions at our shelter, but hasn’t been super playful yet. He prefers being loved on by people the most…we think he’s making up for all those days he didn’t get the attention he deserved.
