Cami – Husky mix – 2yrs – female (43lbs)
Meet our sweet little mama, Cami! Cami was surrendered to a county shelter along with her litter of puppies when they were just a few days old. Their reason for giving her up? They didn’t want to deal with puppies! And to make it worse, they also surrendered her sister (Teagan) who was actually in labor at the time. 😠 A county shelter is NOT a good place for a new mama and her babies so we were happy to step in and help. Cami and Teagan went to our “mama-foster” to have a safe, quiet place to care for their babies. Now, sweet Cami is done being a mom and just wants to have a good time!
Cami is tons of fun! She’s happy, outgoing, and silly. She’s easy to walk, but likes to “check-in” with her walker by jumping on them (she could use some leash manners 😂). She doesn’t have accidents in her kennel area and her last owner says she’s housebroken. Cami loves everyone she meets and is ready for action. She is great with other active dogs and loves to play. While she is good with kids, she is still very jumpy and would do better with kids who are a little older. Cami will make a great outdoor companion; she loves adventure. She will do best in a home with an active family that includes her in their daily life and she’d love another dog to play with. If our sweet, goofy girl seems like a good fit for your life, please complete our application to get to meet and adopt Cami.
