Corley – German Shepherd mix – 2 ½ yrs – female (69lbs)

Say hello to an absolute sweetheart: Corley! This gorgeous girl was found in the front yard of a house whose owner called Animal Control saying that a stray just had puppies under a bush in his yard. Animal control took mama and her six newborn puppies to their county shelter. Of course, all the puppies were adopted quickly leaving poor Corley there waiting for someone to adopt her too. We saw her there with her gentle eyes and knew she had to be rescued.

Corley is such a gem! Thanks to a previous foster home, we know that she’s housebroken, good in a home, and great with kids. She’s insanely sweet and upon seeing you, will immediately flop on her back for a belly rub. She loves to play with other dogs and has several playmates at our shelter. Corley is happy, gentle, and easy going. She also enjoys playing in the baby pool and it’s so fun to watch her splashing around. We’ve found that she’s pretty easy to walk, but will pull in excitement if she sees another dog or person on her journey – she is easy to correct, but could use some training in that area. Corley is going to make an amazing family companion! If she sounds like she might be a good fit for your life, please complete our application today to take Corley home!
