Gabby – Staffordshire Terrier mix – 1 ½ yrs – female (45lbs)
Say hello to our adorable Gabby girl! Gabby was in a home where she was loved and cared for until, sadly, her owner became homeless and ended up living in a shelter. Unfortunately, she was not able to take Gabby with her and she was forced to surrender her to a county shelter. We heard her story and knew we needed to step up! We rescued her from that county shelter so we can find her a forever home where she will be loved and adored for the rest of her life.
Gabby has settled in really well at our rescue. She’s happy, playful, and spunky. She’s a joy to have around and her enthusiasm for the water hose cracks us up. Gabby loves to go for walks, but tends to pull and is quite strong for that short little body. She could use a bit of training, but is very treat motivated. The notes from her previous owner said that she is housebroken and she doesn’t have accidents in her kennel area. She’s still very “puppy-like” and has that kind of energy. She loves everyone and believes everyone should love her right back – we agree!
Gabby is good with other dogs, but can be a bit bossy. She’s a strong, confident female so if there is another dog in her new home, he will need to be a good-sized male with an easygoing disposition. This cutie will brighten up whatever lucky household she lands in. Complete our application to start the process of taking our little lady home! 💛
