Harper - DOB: 8/15/26 - hound mix - female
Meet Harper! This tiny girl was the lone survivor of a litter of seven. Her poor mama had been left neglected and was so starving that she couldn’t produce milk to feed her babies. The six other babies were found deceased and we were asked to step in to bottle-feed newborn Harper. The poor mama isn’t in our care because she’s under court hold as evidence of neglect, but we can tell you she is getting much healthier and is receiving lots of love.
Harper may be tiny, but she’s a firecracker! She was a pro at bottle feeding and has been living in our director’s house with all the big dogs. She’s feisty, loving, and playful. She doesn’t seem to notice how much smaller she is than the other dogs and will happily wrestle with them or put them in their place if they get too rough. 😂 We absolutely adore this tough little girl and we know you will too!
Harper is eight weeks old now and officially ready for a home of her own. We haven’t seen her parents, but we believe she’s a petite hound mix who will likely stay under 40lbs. Interested in adopting? Complete our application and, if approved, we’ll reach out to arrange a meet and greet. Harper’s waiting!
