Hines – Staffordshire Terrier mix – 2yrs – male (51lbs)

Meet our handsome boy, Hines! The first part of this adorable guy’s life was not good. He was confiscated by the police when neighbors reported that he had been living in a crate in a backyard without food or water. He was crying nonstop. Going to that county shelter was actually a great improvement. But things have gotten even better for Hines because we spotted him and couldn’t look away. Our Director fell in love with him immediately and when she heard his story there was no question that he needed to be part of the SHR family! ❤️

We’re happy to share that Hines is loving life in the safety of our rescue. He’s the happiest boy, full of joy and loving life! He gets the funniest zoomies ever and will race around the play yard. Considering that he could barely move in that old crate, we’re sure every day feels amazing now. ❤️ Hines loves to splash in the baby pool and go for walks, but he still needs some work on his leash manners. He’s affectionate with people and is great with other dogs; he’s very playful and puppy-like. He doesn’t have accidents in his kennel so he “may” be housebroken. Hines is a true treasure and we can’t wait for him to be cherished and adored. Please complete our adoption form to meet and adopt this amazing boy.
