Katie – Labrador mix – 3yrs – female (67lbs)

Meet our sweet mama, Katie! This gorgeous girl was found pregnant and homeless in a mine in Buckeye. She was taken in by a rescue where she gave birth to her puppies. Sadly, that rescue fell on hard times and needed help so we took Katie and her babies with us. We treated her for tick fever and once she was healthy, had her spayed. Now Katie is ready to find her forever home at last! 

Katie is a total treasure! She loves everyone she meets and is a favorite at the rescue with staff and volunteers. Katie appears to be housebroken because she has no accidents in her kennel area and she is crate trained. She’s is good with other dogs, but not very playful. She mainly hangs out with them and enjoys the sunshine. She is great on a leash and loves the adventure of her walks. She’s a mellow girl who’s very easy to love.
