Kyra – German Shepherd mix – DOB 5/23/25 – female

Give a big welcome to Kyra! This beautiful girl was born into our shelter after her mom was dumped in a rural area when she was very pregnant. A good samaritan helped get her to the county shelter and we rescued her from there. 

Kyra was born into a safe foster home and has only known the good life. She is smart and sassy and makes the most of every waking minute! She lives with our director, five big dogs, and many other puppies…she loves all the activity. Kyra is the adventurer of the litter and will check out every noise or movement in the yard. She’s brave and confident, but loving and affectionate too. She blazes through the doggie-door like a game and doesn't have accidents in the puppy room so potty training should be pretty easy. 

Kyra is smart, but stubborn and likes to get her way. She’s great with the other puppies and big dogs and thinks every person should love her – we agree! Kyra is an active puppy, enjoys playing with toys and being chased by the other puppies. She will grow into an athletic dog that will need a good amount of exercise and training. She’s happy to please so it should be easy and fun. An understanding of her breed is also very important. She will grow into a loyal protector and loving companion.
