Larson – Labrador/Mastiff mix – 1 ½ yrs – male (78lbs)

This stunning guy is Larson! Larson was picked up as a stray right in front of the county shelter so it’s safe to say he was likely dumped there. We spotted him sitting at that crowded county shelter and brought him to safety with us. 

Larson appears to be housebroken and has no accidents in his kennel. He walks well on a leash and is very polite. He’s a big vocal boy and can be a bit intimidating when you first meet him, but once he warms up, he’s very sweet and lowkey. He has been out with a few other dogs, but doesn’t really engage in play so we believe he’d love to be a solo dog with an adventurous owner who will take him on fun outings. Larson would make a great hiking, walking, or camping companion. He also really loves lounging around and being a couch potato. We don’t know anything about Larson’s past, but we do know that his human failed him and it’s our goal to show him that most humans are good.
