Meet our adorable girl, Lucy! This perfect pittie was dumped right in front of the county shelter…her owners just left her there and drove away. 💔 She was taken in where she sat waiting for several months until we saw her and just couldn’t leave her behind. We brought her to safety with our rescue and are so happy we did! 

Now that Lucy is part of the SHR family, we’re learning so much about her. Lucy loves to go for walks and is very good on a leash. She’s also great with other dogs. She’s not super rough when she plays, she’d rather be chased and will try to entice her play-buddy to do just that! Lucy is also a “Sun Goddess” and will spend as much time as possible just bathing in the sun with her belly in the air. She loves tummy rubs and will drop right in front of you as a hint. Lucy is happy, polite, and has so much love to give. She is athletic, but not hyper - a nice walk will satisfy her. She doesn’t have accidents in her kennel area so we believe she is likely housebroken. Our girl is looking for her forever person or family, one that will take her for car rides and actually bring her back!
