Rose – German Shepherd mix – 3 yrs – female (61lbs)

Introducing our special mama, Rose! Rose was originally found on a rural property where she had puppies in a culvert. The owner of that property called Animal Control and let them know that he believed she had been dumped there. When the officer came for Rose, she was very sweet and allowed him to pick up her pups too. We were called right away so she wouldn’t need to go into that crowded county shelter with her babies. Rose went straight to safety at our “mama-foster”, where she was able to have a quiet, safe place to care for her pups. Once her puppies were weaned, she came to our shelter where she quickly became a staff favorite. Rose is everyone’s favorite dog! She had some medical issues that needed to be taken care of and she NEVER complained and always cooperated. She was an absolute dream at the vet. Rose is now completely healthy and ready to find her forever home!

We really can’t say enough great things about Rose. She is loving, loyal, fun, and has an amazing disposition. She loves everyone: men, women, and children. She’s great on a leash, has a blast in the baby pool, and makes everyone smile. Rose is housebroken and very well behaved. She’s also great with other dogs. Rose is ready to find a loving, forever home with a person or family that truly appreciates her.
