Sammy – Labrador/Shepherd mix - DOB 3/8/25 – male

Meet our special boy, Sammy! He was born on a farm where he and his littermates had no interaction with humans. County reached out to us and we swooped in to rescue the four remaining pups and bring them to safety. All four were terrified and huddled together to keep safe, we could barely touch them. We quickly split them up into foster homes where they are now all thriving individually.

Sammy is being fostered by a trainer so he’s getting a lot of life experience and some great training. He has already come so far! While still very cautious with new people, he is learning daily that people are safe and even fun. He now will cuddle with his foster family and especially loves the teenager in the home. Sammy is crate trained, potty trained, and uses a doggie door. He knows basic commands, is super smart, and extremely food motivated. He loves to play with other dogs and will do best in a home with at least one other dog. His foster family just loves him and we know that in the right home, one that is patient and goes slow, our Sammy boy is going to grow into an amazing family member. The best part about owning a puppy like Sammy is watching him blossom and knowing that you helped make that happen – you’ll be his world!
