Teddy – Labrador/Shepherd mix - DOB 3/8/25 – male
Teddy is a four month old lab/shepherd mix who was born on a farm where he and his littermates had no interaction with humans. County reached out to us and we swooped in to rescue the four remaining pups and bring them to safety. All four were terrified and huddled together to keep safe, we could barely touch them. We quickly split them up into foster homes where they are now all thriving individually.
Teddy is in a home with one of our long-time volunteers and he’s experiencing new things every day. He plays with his canine foster siblings and loves his foster parents. He even got to go camping recently and absolutely loved it! Teddy’s foster mom says he’s house-trained, crate trained, and loves the water. He plays with the hose any chance he gets and it’s adorable! He absolutely loves the dogs in the home and has become his foster-brother’s shadow. He has a bunch of puppy energy and is adorably nosey about everything. He has a stunning, shiny black coat. His foster family jokes that he’s so black that when he is under the bed and closes his eyes, you can’t even see him! 😂 Teddy wants to be close, but is still a bit uncomfortable with people standing. He will sit on the sofa with you and we know that, in the right home, with time, patience, and the love he so deserves, Teddy is going to be an outstanding family member. Could that family be yours? If so, please complete the application to start our process.
